A pool Player Robot

The Roboshark© project was defined in the Computer Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology in September 2002. The project was supervised be Professor S. Bagheri, and I dedicated more than one year to bring this robot from idea to reality. In the end, I had designed and constructed a pool player robot  not only capable of scanning the pool table and kicking the balls, but also capable of seeing the balls' position on the table and making the decision of the best available shot. The project was ranked as "excellent" by the referee team  and its documents can be found in the central library of Sharif University of Technology.

I want to thank Mr. Pooya Karimian,  who helped me a lot in this project. I could not pack up the vision part in such a short time without his helps. Thank you Pooya!

Sharif General Purpose Remotely Operated underwater Vehicle

Currently I am involved with the Sharif R.O.V. project, which aims to construct a General Purpose Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle. This R.O.V. will be used mainly for tracking oil pipes and underwater investigation of off-shore facilities. More information about this project can be found at the R.O.V. Project's home page within the Artificial Creatures Lab pages.
